I am Sohaib, and my Chinese name isHai Bo, 海博. Icome from Lahore, an ancient and historically rich city in Pakistan. My first visit to China in 2016 was a profound cultural experience that inspired me to stay and pursue further studies. Driven by this inspiration, I completed my master's degree at the School of Industrial Design at the China Academy of Art.

The idea for my graduation design, "Sweet without Sugar", stemmed from the high demand for sugar in Pakistan, which has led to hyperactivity in children and obesity in adulthood. To address this issue, I incorporated augmented reality technology in my project, projecting fun circular patterns representing sweetness onto foods that children love. Although these patterns do not add any actual sugar, they make the food more attractive, helping people manage their sugar cravings and promoting healthier eating habits. What excites me most about this project is its interactivity—users simply hover their hands over the food, and the sugar content information is displayed.

In the future,I aspire to explore new technologies, learn more and create impactful and meaningful designs that address real-world problems and enhance the quality of life!
