宗旨：中国美术学院互动艺术与技术研究是以计算机图形学为基础，紧密跟踪世界互动艺术领域先进技术，以软件工程理论为指导，探索数字技术与艺术相互融合，增强艺术表达力，研发应用与教学数字化产品的学术平台。研究所创立于2011年9月，其宗旨以软件工程理论和技术管理学为指南，以中国创意产业为舞台，在“互动艺术”领域里，创建跨学科、跨界发展的技术与艺术相结合的理论体系。

　　Objectives:Interactive Arts and Technology Institute of CAA is based on the foundation of digital graphics studies,by following the trend of the advanced interactive art and technology in the world,and directed by the software engineering theory,this centre try to explore the connection between the digital art and technology;enhance artistic expression;and become the academic platform of developing,applying and teaching digital products.It funded in Sep of 2011.Its principle is:directed by the software engineering theory and technical management theory,base on the Chinese creative industry,and attempt to build up a holistic theoretical system that cross disciplines include arts and technologies.
