宗旨：城乡统筹综合研究院于2011年5月在第四次杭州市与中国美术学院战略合作会议上授牌成立，办事机构设在中国美术学院内，研究院院长由中国美术学院曹增节教授担任，汇聚了城乡发展与文化创意的杰出专家群，下设创意策划中心、品牌战略中心、产业发展中心、传播研究中心等部门。研究院依托中国美术学院学术背景与学科资源，以杭州城乡建设发展实践为先例，以协同创新理念，积极介入并推动中国城镇化健康持续发展，主要承担历史文化名城、历史文化街区、文化创意产业园、风情小镇、美丽乡村的发展研究、品牌策划、概念设计、产业分析与传播推广。

　　Objectives:Urban-Rural Development Research Institute was founded in the fourth strategic cooperation conference organised by Hangzhou City and China Academy of Art in May,2011.The institute establishes its office inside the China Academy of Art and Professor Cao Zengjie is appointed the director of the institute.It gathers together outstanding experts in urban-rural development and cultural creativity and sets up several departments,including Planning and Creativity Centre,Brand Strategy Centre,Industrial Development Centre and Communication Research Centre.Relying on the academic background and resources of China Academy of Art,the institute follows the example of Hangzhou urban-rural construction and development and the concept of collaborative innovation,and is deeply involved in promoting the sustainable and healthy development of China urbanisation.It mainly focuses on the development and research,brand planning,conceptual design,industrial analysis and communication of famous historic and cultural cities,historic conservation areas,culture creative industry parks,fabulous towns and beautiful villages.
